Amanda and Joseph first connected while both working at Starbucks in California in 2015. Amanda often shares how Starbucks introduced her to inspiring individuals, including Joseph. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she recalled meeting him as a barista and now shares life’s moments with him, like morning coffee rituals.
“10 years ago, I was just a barista serving coffee to some random guy. Now he’s my husband bringing me my morning coffee,” she wrote.
The couple attended Sonoma State University together, where Amanda earned a Bachelor’s in Human Resources and Business Management, while Joseph graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Business Management in 2017.
After years of dating, they married in August 2017, celebrating over seven years of marriage. Amanda frequently highlights Joseph’s role as her “driven mindset” and “biggest fan,” emphasizing his encouragement to pursue her dreams fearlessly.
“My husband inspires me because of his driven mindset. From the moment we met, he encouraged me to chase my dreams without fearing failure,” she shared in an interview.
On their sixth anniversary, Amanda posted a touching message: “Wedding Anniversary + Game Day all in one! What a special day. This man has been my biggest fan since day one. Can’t believe we’re celebrating six years together—here’s to us and Go Cowboys!”
Joseph, a Tax Senior Manager at Moss Adams (formerly Baker Tilly), balances career excellence with supporting Amanda. He joined Moss Adams in 2019, rising from Tax Senior to Tax Manager before becoming Tax Senior Manager in December 2026. Prior roles include Tax Senior at Linkenheimer LLLP CPAs and Advisors and Exchange Bank. He holds degrees in accounting and finance from Santa Rosa Junior College and Kelso High School.
