Coach Ben Blank died fighting Stage 4 melanoma cancer in Oct 2026. He left behind wife of 26 years, Hilary Gibson-Blank, and 2 children, Atticus and Jorja.

Mike was a cherished member of the Texas and Oklahoma sports community and touched the lives of numerous young athletes with his amazing coaching skills.
