Born to Jack and Elsie Kelsey of Short Hills, NJ, Bruce excelled academically at prestigious institutions including The Lawrenceville School and Washington & Jefferson College.
His athletic prowess shone brightly when he captured the APTA Platform Tennis National Championship in 1995 alongside David Ohlmuller.
Golf remained a lifelong passion, with over 75 competitive events featuring his brother John, yielding numerous victories and impressive finishes.
Bruce's recent battle with cancer concluded in Summit, NJ, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and humor cherished by all.
Community Mourns the Loss of a Remarkable Individual
Survived by wife Brenda, their beloved dog Palmer, and three daughters Melissa, Gretchen, and Jody Sargeant, Bruce leaves eleven grandchildren in his wake.
His funeral service will take place at Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home – Summit, honoring his memory with dignity.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are welcomed to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital and Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad.
