From early years, his natural talent shone through in athletics, leading high school teams as pitcher and quarterback across multiple sports.
Harold's passion extended beyond competition; he cherished family moments, often expressing joy through baking and sharing homemade treats with loved ones and neighbors.
His career spanned over forty years at Hobart Corporation, where professional pride blended seamlessly with personal values.
Harold's dedication to community flourished through roles such as Treasurer at Troy Farmers Market and lifelong support for local sports teams like the Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Surviving spouses Ineke, children Dennis (Pat) Fuge, Pam (Pat) Brown, Flavia (Chris) Miller, siblings, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his legacy lives on through countless hearts.
The family invites friends and relatives to honor his memory at a celebration of life scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2026, beginning at 4:00 PM at Hale Sarver Family Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Ohio Hospice of Dayton.
