Early in her career, Lisa worked as a sports copy editor at The San Diego Union-Tribune, then transitioned into public relations roles at Harrison Edwards PR and as a consultant for USTA Eastern. These positions allowed her to channel her communication expertise into fostering connections within sports communities.
As Director of Communications at USTA Eastern, Lisa merged her passion for tennis with professional outreach, strengthening ties between athletes and supporters.
Her contributions extend to nonprofit leadership as Membership Coordinator at Troon Golf and Board Trustee for Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation, advocating for women’s education and empowerment. She also supports My Sisters’ Place NY, a refuge for survivors of domestic violence and trafficking.
Since 2016, Lisa has dedicated herself to librarianship, starting as a Reference Librarian at John C. Hart Memorial Library. In March 2026, she became Osborn Library Manager at Rye Free Reading Room, where she cultivates inclusive spaces that reflect her warmth and dedication.
