Dr. Jack Walker Moore, a respected figure in sports medicine and Madison Academy's dedicated team doctor, tragically passed away.

His passing was confirmed on May 5, 2026, by Rohit Maharjan, marking a profound loss for the medical community.

Born on February 11, 1966, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Dr. Billy Sam Moore and his wife, Jack pursued his passion for medicine after graduating from Madison Academy in 1984. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree at Harding University, where he excelled both academically and athletically as a wide receiver for the Harding Bisons.

Dr. Moore's journey in medicine included completing an AO trauma sports medicine fellowship in Jackson, Wyoming, and obtaining certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons with a focus on joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures for knees and shoulders.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Moore was known for his musical talents, particularly his skill as a pianist, and his appreciation for classical music.
