Mark Plott, a renowned Houston, Texas softball/baseball mentor, departed at 52 following an extended struggle with malignancy. Those acquainted with him as a mentor recall his iconic '1,2,3 Boom' rallying cry.
After a brief hospital stay on September 15, his health deteriorated rapidly, leading to his final departure on September 30, 2026.
