Mason Levin, a 22-year-old baseball player from Maryland, a resident of Potomac, passed away unexpectedly in June 2026.

The Potomac, Maryland, community is heartbroken over the sudden loss of Mason Levin, a talented young baseball player, cherished son, and loyal friend.

So far, the prime cause of Mason’s passing hasn’t been disclosed, as his family is grieving in private and asking for privacy during this difficult time.

The baseball player Mason Levin is survived by his parents, brother , and extended family.

Mason was a gifted athlete who shone on the baseball field. A 2026 graduate from St. Andrew’s Episcopal High School in Potomac, Maryland, Mason was a promising right-handed pitcher who made a mark in the baseball community.

Standing at 6’1” and weighing 215 pounds, Levin showcased his skills with NEB National, his last recorded team, and committed to Harford Community College to continue his baseball journey.

His Perfect Game profile highlights a strong pitching career, with a fastball velocity reaching 87 mph by October 2026, placing him in the 89th percentile among his class.

’s standout performances included a six-inning shutout with seven strikeouts against Bluerocks Baseball Carolina on October 24, 2026, and a no-hit game against East Cobb Astros 18U earlier that month.

Over the years, his fastball velocity improved significantly, climbing from 77 mph in 2016 to 87 mph by 2026, reflecting his growth as a pitcher.

Recognized for his competitive edge and work ethic, Levin earned a Top 1000 national ranking and was ranked 40th overall and 15th among right-handed pitchers in Maryland.

Off the field, Mason was just as special; he was a caring son, a supportive brother, and a friend who made everyone feel at home.

Thus far, details surrounding his funeral services haven’t been published. Although Mason is no longer with us, his memory will live on.
