Misty May-Treanor, a legendary beach volleyball player, faced a critical crossroads when she was removed from her high school squad. Yet this challenge became her catalyst for greatness.

Born July 30, 1977, in California, she achieved unmatched success partnering Kerri Walsh Jennings. She secured three straight Olympic gold medals (2004 Athens, 2008 Beijing, 2012 London) and dominated with 112 career tournament victories, including multiple FIVB World Tour titles and AVP championships—cementing her legacy as the most decorated female beach volleyball athlete ever.

Her collegiate years at Long Beach State were equally remarkable, guiding her team to an undefeated season and NCAA championship in 1998.

Today, Misty channels her passion into nurturing future generations as Long Beach City College's Volleyball Director and USC women's sand volleyball assistant coach.

Beyond coaching, she founded Dream in Gold (DIG), a beach volleyball initiative empowering young athletes. As a motivational speaker, she continues inspiring audiences globally, proving resilience defines true champions.
