Coach Davis faced misdemeanor charges after his August 23, 2026 arrest for speeding on U.S. 75. Police discovered his suspended license due to 18 unpaid citations and lack of insurance. His vehicle contained alcohol, though no signs of intoxication were observed.

Glenpool authorities arrested him during a routine traffic stop. Davis, who previously coached at institutions like Tulsa Washington High School and the University of Central Oklahoma, now serves as Okmulgee High School's head football coach.

Arrest Stemmed from Traffic Violations

Officers found an open wine bottle and another alcohol-containing sports drink in his car. Despite these findings, no impairment was detected. Charges include driving with a suspended license, no insurance, and open container violations.

Davis remains in jail until his court appearance. Okmulgee Public Schools has not issued a statement regarding his case.
