Shannon and Jerry McSorley exchanged vows on April 14, 2008, establishing a union that lasted nearly twenty years.

McSorley, holding a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Tech (2000), currently leads Eye Trax Inc—a Charlotte-based maker of solar-powered security cameras—and has previously founded Red Clay Developments and Sagebrook Homes.

Both spouses share twin sons, Brady and Liam (born Jan 1, 2010), whom they raised as dedicated athletes; Brady competes in varsity volleyball while Liam excels in swimming and soccer at Christ the King High School.
