Ted J Fisher was the celebrated cross-country and track coach. He dedicated nearly four decades to teaching and coaching at Decatur Central High School.
His commitment and enthusiasm enriched the school from 1970 until 2007.
Beyond academics and athletics, Ted was deeply involved in the High School Road Church of Christ.
Additionally, he cherished music, often leading songs and hymns during worship gatherings.
An avid cyclist, Ted logged over 600,000 miles on two wheels, as noted by a fellow rider.
His impact resonates with numerous students and staff, extending beyond Decatur into Indiana's wider high school sports scene.

Ted Fisher leaves behind three beloved daughters: Kimberly Letko, Jamison Edwards, and Kathryn Fisher, along with their spouses and three grandchildren.
