Todd Meneely, a celebrated wrestling mentor from Omaha, Nebraska, tragically lost his battle with life following a devastating vehicle collision over the weekend.
Recognized as a three-time NCAA Division II national champion for Nebraska-Omaha, his achievements left an indelible mark on the sport.
Todd stood among the Midwest’s premier wrestling talents, his journey beginning at Skutt Catholic High School where he secured four Nebraska state titles.
His excellence extended nationally, earning him Outstanding Wrestler honors at Greco-Turkish tournaments. A nine-time All-American across Fargo Freestyle/Greco Cadet and Junior divisions, his accolades speak volumes about his prowess.
After starting at the University of Iowa, Todd transferred to the University of Nebraska at Omaha, culminating in 2008-09 as NCAA Division 2 Wrestler Of The Year and Outstanding Wrestler at NWCA Division I National Duals.
Transitioning to MMA, he became a respected coach across multiple facilities while balancing a full-time role as a client support manager.

Assisting at Millard South High School alongside his father, he carried forward their shared legacy until retirement.

Above all, Todd cherished his two sons, Truin and Breckin, whose faces brought him endless joy. His devotion to family intertwined seamlessly with his coaching philosophy, creating a nurturing environment for aspiring athletes.
