Jordan Wormdahl Shough, the longtime partner and now wife of NFL quarterback Tyler Shough, grew up in Eugene, Oregon, with sports running deep in her family. The daughter of Brandy and Derek Wormdahl, she was surrounded by competition and commitment from an early age.
Their story began at the University of Oregon, where Tyler was leading the Ducks on the football field and Jordan was making her mark on the soccer pitch.
A Family Of Sports And Education
Jordan’s mother, Brandy, was a standout soccer player at Oregon State and earned Midwestern League Player of the Year honors in 1987.
After her playing career, she went into coaching at North Eugene High School, where she helped develop many young athletes, including her own daughter.
Her father, Derek, 55, has built a respected career at the University of Oregon, serving as Senior Director of Solutions Development and Data Services.

Jordan grew up in a household that valued both athletic and academic excellence. She was a three-time National Honor Society member in high school and graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
TylerShough’s wife also developed into one of Oregon’s top soccer prospects before joining the University of Oregon’s women’s soccer team. It was during her time at UO that she met Tyler, beginning a relationship that would grow stronger over the years.
Tyler Shough’s Football Journey
Tyler began his college football career at Oregon in 2018 and played there until 2026. He then transferred to Texas Tech, where he spent three seasons from 2026 to 2026, before completing his final year at Louisville in 2026.
His strong performances at the college level earned him a selection in the 2026 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. He also made his first NFL preseason debut against the Chargers.
Jordan was also making her own impact in sports. She was named Oregon’s 5A State Player of the Year in 2017, finishing her high school career with 67 goals and 56 assists.
She joined the Oregon Ducks’ soccer program in 2018 and remained a key part of the team throughout her college years.
The couple made their relationship public in 2019. Tyler proposed to Jordan during a trip to Mexico in May 2026, and they were married on April 6, 2026, celebrating with family, friends, and former teammates.
