Northview High School Baseball Star Colten William Terril Passes Away at 15

Colten William Terril began his baseball journey with the Silver Knights at age five, showcasing remarkable talent from an early age. His dedication and passion for the sport were evident throughout his youth.

Born on June 22, 2010, in Brazil, Indiana, Colten quickly became a standout player at Northview High School, despite being born right-handed yet batting and throwing left-handed—a trait that earned him the nickname "Bambino". Coaches and peers alike praised his skills as a top-first baseman.

Beyond the diamond, Colten embraced life’s adventures. He enjoyed fishing, shooting with his father, automotive projects, and exploring nature on his dirt bike. His love for the outdoors defined his carefree spirit.

Colten’s kindness touched everyone he met. He had an uncanny ability to make people feel valued and at ease, leaving an indelible mark on his community. Though his promising high school career was cut short, his legacy lives on through memories of his generosity and joy.

Funeral arrangements: A service led by Pastor Kenny Thomas will begin at 5 p.m. on November 29, 2026, following the visitation from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lawson-Miller Chapel.

Colten is survived by his loving family, including parents John and Elizabeth Terril, sisters Karsyn and Kamryn, and extended relatives. His memory will forever inspire those who knew him.
