An affected family member has raised urgent issues about staff behavior, privacy infringements, and coercive actions, igniting widespread conversation online.

Details shared on Facebook describe incidents where school officials allegedly obtained sensitive information and used it to threaten a family. The conflict began during student pickup when Tina Strickland, the finance secretary, reportedly shouted at the parent in front of their child.

The parent expressed feelings of humiliation and distress over the public confrontation. The post included a direct quote from the parent:

“Miss Strickland displayed unprofessional conduct by shouting at me in front of my child during student pickup today in the office,”

Escalation occurred when the parent sought resolution with Strickland’s supervisor, Kinsey Clark. Claims suggest Strickland accessed student files without permission to retrieve contact details, which were then shared with Strickland’s spouse, Scott Schroder—a coach and educator at the school.

Consequently, the parent received threatening communications from Schroder, fostering an environment of fear. The post emphasized,

“This represents a clear misuse of confidential data, acquired during work hours by a school employee, to harass and intimidate a family,”

The parent voiced concerns about systemic accountability gaps within the administration. After filing a formal complaint following the threats, they reported being denied a response or discussion.

Further allegations emerged that Clark and another administrator visited the parent’s spouse—also a school staff member—engaging in intimidating conduct. The parent concluded,

“I no longer feel secure with my daughter attending Muskogee High School. I worry for all students’ safety if confidential data remains accessible for misuse, leading to threats against families,”

Social media reactions varied widely. Some supported the parent, referencing similar experiences or questioning school safety protocols. Others critiqued the decision to publicize grievances instead of pursuing internal channels. A commenter highlighted perceived institutional failures, while additional voices shared personal anecdotes about past conflicts or security concerns. Local news outlets, including KOTV – News On 6 and FOX23 News, amplified coverage of these issues, underscoring persistent worries about staff ethics and student welfare.
