The O'Connor High School community is mourning the loss of Erik Rogalinski, a cherished son, sibling, and companion.
His departure has deeply affected peers, teammates, and family members alike.
One friend expressed,
“Our hearts are heavy with sorrow over the loss of our dear friend, son, brother, and more. Erik Rogalinski, Class of 2026. We unite this Sunday at 7 PM at the O'Connor football field for a balloon release in his honor. Please bring blue or baby blue balloons reflecting his devotion to the Milwaukee Brewers.”

Erik shone as a defensive end and tackle for the O'Connor Panthers from 2016 to 2019, proudly wearing #44.
Renowned for his commitment on the field and positive influence in the locker room, he made a profound impact on everyone around him.
Post-high school, Erik pursued academics and athletics at the University of Houston.
A memorial balloon event is scheduled for August 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM to commemorate Erik's legacy.
The ceremony will occur at Sandra Day O'Connor Football Field, situated at 12221 Leslie Rd. in Helotes, Texas.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blue or baby blue balloons, symbolizing Erik's passion for the Milwaukee Brewers, for a poignant farewell.
Though his journey ended prematurely, Erik Rogalinski will be remembered for his compassion, loyalty, and enthusiasm for sports.
