Nevada Choate, who had a passion for snowboarding, tragically lost his life in a violent car crash on June 15, 2026, along State Route 528 in Madison Township, Ohio.
At just 29 years old, his sudden passing has left family, friends, and neighbors in deep grief.
He was a devoted husband and father, deeply committed to his wife and children.

Nevada Choate was a respected resident of Mentor, Ohio, known for his dedication to his family and community involvement.
On June 15, he tragically died in a single-vehicle crash on State Route 528, where the car veered off the roadway, struck a culvert, became airborne, and both occupants were ejected.
Choate was rushed to University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities suspect excessive speed contributed to the crash, and the Lake Regional Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
The Madison Township community is holding candlelight vigils and memorials to honor his memory.
Friends describe him as humble, loyal, and compassionate—someone who lived with purpose and cherished every moment.
One friend shared: "I love you brother. I’ve been at a loss for words since hearing the news. We last spoke just a week ago, unaware it would be our final conversation. Though our relationship drifted, our bond remained unshaken. I’ll miss our snowboarding adventures. Please watch over your family—they need you now more than ever. I’ll see you on the other side."
