Chad Fleming, a cherished educator and coach, departed peacefully on September 25, 2026. He is remembered as a devoted husband and father.
Survived by his wife, Jen Fleming, a math specialist at Mystic River Magnet School, and their two children, Melanie Elizabeth Fleming and Adam Fleming.
Melanie, a standout student at Fitch High School, excels academically and athletically, balancing her passions for music and dance with her studies.
Her achievements include earning honors in the National Honor Society and representing her community as a student leader.
Melanie's dedication to both academics and extracurriculars reflects her father's influence, fostering a spirit of perseverance and ambition.
As a Bronze & Silver Award Girl Scout, she plans to attend UConn to study marketing, continuing her journey of growth and exploration.
