The Happy Valley, Oregon, community is grieving the sudden passing of Alex Luchak, a cherished local and former athlete.

Alex Luchak's life came to an unexpected end this week, though the specifics of his passing remain undisclosed.

Originating from Oregon, Alex Luchak significantly impacted those around him through his exceptional athletic abilities and compassionate personality.

Alex Luchak initiated his sporting endeavors at Clackamas High School back in 2004, excelling as a member of the varsity baseball squad and contributing to numerous victories. His academic journey concluded with graduation in 2007.

Subsequently, he pursued athletics at Clackamas Community College, where he competed on the men's baseball roster and secured multiple prestigious accolades during his time there.

Though Alex Luchak did not pursue professional sports, his collegiate and high school athletic contributions deeply resonated within the community.

Late Alex Luchak Served as Sales and Marketing Director at Family Enterprise

Post-graduation with a B.B.A. from Oregon State University in 2009, Alex joined his family’s business, Miles Fiberglass & Composites Inc., where he remained until his passing.

His career began in 2008 as a Gel-Coat gun operator, evolving into roles such as Lamanator/ Chopper Gun Operator and Wind Technician over subsequent years.

From 2014 until his recent death, Alex held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at Miless Fiberglass & Composites Inc. in Happy Valley, Oregon.

Additionally, he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business with a focus on Renewable Energy from Clackamas Community College in 2013, alongside receiving certification as a Composites Technician from ACMA in 2014.

Prior employment included roles in computer analysis and data entry at Tugman Group.

The unexpected loss has created an immense emptiness among Alex’s relatives, friends, and acquaintances.

Family members and loved ones are offering their deepest sympathies while sharing memories of Alex during this challenging period.

Alex Luchak is survived by his wife Brittany Luchak, parents Lori-Luchak Olund and Forrest Olund, brother Justin Luchak, and extended family.

Brittany Luchak expressed her grief publicly, sharing heartfelt words about her husband, describing him as her partner, confidant, and source of strength.

“The pain of losing Alex is indescribable, yet I find solace in our shared memories. He brought joy, laughter, and unwavering support to everyone around him. While I struggle with the void he leaves, I am grateful for our time together. His kindness and humor touched countless lives. Thank you to everyone offering comfort during this difficult period.”

A memorial service will be organized by the family at Clackamas Community College on January 10 at 2 PM to celebrate Alex’s life and legacy.
