Helena, Montana, mourns the loss of a cherished local hero, dedicated athlete, and devoted family man, Nicholas ‘Nick’ Alamia.
Nick Alamia died tragically in a car accident earlier this week, with family members confirming the incident while withholding further details.
Born and raised in Helena, Nick was a beloved figure in Montana's sports scene, known for his kindness and athletic prowess.
During his high school career at Capital High, Nick excelled as a tight end (#85), leading the team to multiple championship seasons.
His junior year (2007) saw the Bruins achieve a 12-1 record, earning top state and national rankings. The following year (2008), he helped secure an undefeated season and #1 state ranking before graduating in 2009.
Though he didn't pursue professional sports, Nick remained deeply connected to athletics through community involvement. He later worked as a Wells Fargo branch manager in Helena and previously served at First Montana Bank.
