Hugh Pritchard Williamson IV, a former student-athlete, passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2026, at 48. A special memorial service will take place on November 22, 2026.
While details regarding the cause of his passing remain private, his impact on others endures.
Hugh Pritchard Williamson IV: A Dynamic Athlete and Accomplished Professional
Born May 9, 1977, in Moscow, Idaho, Hugh thrived in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where his family settled in 1979. As a standout student and athlete, he graduated among the top 10% of his high school class in 1994, excelling in cross-country, basketball, and tennis.
His academic prowess continued at Menomonie High School, where he graduated in the top 10% again in 1996. Hugh then pursued higher education at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, joining Beta Theta Pi fraternity and earning a Business Management degree with a Psychology minor in 2003.
He built a successful career in Florida, becoming a licensed real estate professional and achieving recognition as a Senior Financial Consultant in 2026—ranked in the top 19% for sales and 13% for lead conversion. A Notary Public by profession, he worked remotely as a Professional Sales and Customer Service Specialist/Manager.
Beyond work, Hugh cherished music, film, and strategic games like chess. His passion for art, particularly Claude Monet’s work, enriched his personal life.
Hugh is survived by his mother Sheila Stori, stepmother Sarah Williamson, brother Jacob Williamson, and numerous extended family members.
He was predeceased by his father Hugh P. Williamson Jr., stepfather Michael C. Stori, and paternal grandparents Hugh P. Williamson Sr. and Dr. Elsa L. Wade Williamson.
A memorial service will be held at First Congregational UCC Church on November 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., offering the community a space to celebrate his life.
