His coaching career became a cornerstone of young athletes' growth, marked by unwavering presence at every game. Beyond the court, he nurtured his love for beagles through breeding and racing, actively contributing to the Warren County Beagle Club and Jersey Central Beagle Club.

Community Mourns the Loss of a Beloved Mentor

Kevin passed away on April 18, 2026, after battling cancer, as confirmed by sources. Rupell Funeral Home announced the news via social media, sharing details of his life and passing.

Kevin Bowers, 62, from Stewartsville, NJ, fought cancer bravely since June 2, 1963, leaving an indelible mark on his community.

Family and friends remember him for his coaching spirit, family bonds, and cherished moments with grandchildren Raelyn, Juliet, and Quinn.

Family requests donations to Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice instead of flowers.

Survived by wife Karen (39 years), children Justine (Nathan) and Austin (Agustina), and three grandchildren.

Kevin is deeply missed by his parents, brother Alfred Jr., and sister Natasha. Rest in peace, dear Kevin.
