Kevin Edward Sharp Jr., a cherished member of the Defiance community, has died at 42, leaving behind a legacy of passion for wrestling and NASCAR racing.

Born January 23, 1984, in Defiance, Ohio, Kevin graduated from Four County Career Center’s Janitorial program and Defiance High School in 2003. His passing was confirmed by family on Friday, March 13, 2026, though the cause remains undisclosed.

Family members shared heartfelt messages through social media, requesting attendees at his memorial service to honor his memory by wearing wrestling or NASCAR-inspired attire. Kevin’s sister Joy Clees expressed grief publicly, emphasizing his need for love and connection.

“My brother deserved all the love this world can bring,” she wrote, inviting well-wishers to share in remembrance.

Friends and neighbors shared condolences online, with one writing, “RIP Kevin—you’ll never be forgotten.”

Kevin’s family announced a celebration of life on March 20, 2026, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. at Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio. Attendees are encouraged to wear sports gear reflecting his interests.

He is survived by stepfather Larry Moriarity, uncles Daryl (Ann) Patrick and Jeff Patrick, and grandparents Burton and Bernice Sharp, along with Oma Patrick.

His close-knit circle included lifelong bonds with his grandparents, Willie and Oma Patrick.
