A 17-year-old varsity baseball player named Preston Yindra passed away suddenly on December 19, 2026.

Details about his unexpected passing remain unclear at this time.

Preston Yindra is survived by his parents, mother Jill Yindra, and his brother.

During his high school tenure, Preston excelled as a key player for Mishicot Indians, wearing number 32 and primarily playing second base or as a designated hitter.

The team achieved notable victories throughout 2026 against opponents including Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Sheboygan Area Lutheran, St. Mary Catholic, Hilbert, Gibraltar, Roncalli, Adams-Friendship, and Regis.

Preston also participated in American Legion competitions, demonstrating versatility across multiple infield positions while maintaining summer league involvement.
